Our Beginning
We’re Lauren and Julie—two friends who first met years ago in San Francisco and reconnected while volunteering at a local high school auction. Surprise: our kids were at the same school, and we didn’t even know it!
Between name tags and bid sheets, we also discovered another connection: needlepoint. Lauren’s the seasoned stitcher who’s been needlepointing for years. Julie? Completely obsessed—can’t put a canvas down. Both of their canvas stashes are a tad ridiculous.
As we stitched and chatted, one thing became obvious: Marin, Napa and Sonoma are a needlepoint dessert. No local shop. No easy place to drop in, get advice, touch fibers, or find your next canvas. So…we decided to change that.
